about zoomie

crunch crunch zoomie zoomie

Nobody should have to stop in order to keep going. That's the whole company, and it started with a fall.

the name

the inevitability of the zoomies.

Some would say Zoomie is the product of a creatively dyslexic, ADHD brain at peak flow state. So how did flow end up on the floor?

It all started with a madman determined to stay focused and bring society a caffeinated snack that balances flavour, power and convenience in just two bites.

Like any mad scientist, he had a formula that needed testing. While tweaking it, he found himself with a notion to get some motion, so he took the dogs for a walk.

A walk became a jog, and a jog turned into a full-out race between man and dog.

For reasons unknown to the mad scientist to this day, the dog decided to bump him at full speed, sending him tumbling down the dirt road.

As soon as he was able to compose himself, he realised the forces that had been at play during this catastrophic event.

The power of the zoomies was born.

He has now synthesised the perfect Zoomie formula, designed to get anyone, anywhere, moving, zooming and ready to take on whatever comes next with one tasty treat.

Told by Michael, the mad scientist in question. He still makes every bar.

the kitchen

Somebody made this.

Every bar is made by hand in a home kitchen in Austin, Texas. Small batches, weighed and pressed one tray at a time, usually the same week they ship.

It's why batches sell out sometimes, and why every bar comes from a kitchen with a person in it. Questions about yours? Email the kitchen.
